BOISE WHITEWATER PARK
Boise Whitewater Park (formerly known as Boise River Park or 36th Street Wave), features one of the first adjustable river waves in the world. The park was originally made for kayakers but the wave is also excellent for river surfers.

Quinn’s Pond is located north of the the Boise River between Fairview Ave. and Veterans Parkway, and is dominated by a 22-acre pond. Adjacent to the Greenbelt, the park includes fishing docks, beach areas for SUP and canoe landings, and picnic areas with a shelter.
DISCOVERY CENTER OF IDAHO

Warm Springs Avenue is a stretch of road with houses dating back to the 1800’s. It’s a spectacle just to examine the historical architecture from that time period. Drive down this road and point out your favorite structure while basking in the shadow of colossal historical houses.

FORT BOISE SKATEPARK
The BSA started as a group of shop owners, local skaters and community advocates in 2005. They formed an alliance with Boise Parks and Recreation to start improving Rhodes Park’s skateable features. They officially organized as the Boise Skateboard Association and set out to transform Rhodes Park into a world-class skatepark.

EAGLE ISLAND STATE PARK
Eagle Island is a great spot for a family reunion or picnic. Bordered on the north and south by the Boise River, Eagle Island features a swimming beach, grassy picnic area and more than five miles of trails for horseback riding, hiking or walking your dog. An 18-hole disc golf course is available. The waterslide is open Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day.
